Important Safety Disclaimer

Yoga with Claire

Yoga is a rewarding and enriching practice, but it’s important to approach it with care and awareness. Please read the following safety notice before participating in any of the classes, tutorials, or content provided by Yoga with Claire:

1.Consult a Healthcare Professional:

Always consult your doctor or healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program, including yoga, particularly if you have pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or are pregnant.

2.Listen to Your Body:

•Yoga should never cause pain. If you feel discomfort, sharp pain, or strain in any posture, stop immediately and modify as necessary.

•Be mindful of your limits and avoid overexerting yourself. Progress at your own pace.

3.Joint Twinges, Cramping, or Pulling Muscles:

•It is normal to feel a stretch, but if you experience joint twinges, cramping, or any sudden pulling sensations, gently come out of the posture and rest.

•Stay hydrated and take breaks when needed.

4.Falling Over:

•Some postures, especially balancing poses, carry a risk of falling. Ensure you have a safe space around you to minimize the chance of injury. Consider practicing near a wall or using props for support when needed.

5.Use Props and Modifications:

Modify postures to suit your current level of strength, flexibility, and balance. Props such as blocks, straps, and cushions are highly encouraged to support your practice safely.

6.Not a Substitute for Medical Advice:

The guidance provided in Yoga with Claire classes and content is for general informational purposes only and should not replace medical advice or treatment.
